my weekend in Graz

Graz is a lovely city in southern Austria.
it has a beautiful old centre, a hill with a clocktower, lots of new architecture and galleries, and a small artsy quarter.
here are the view from my hotel room and some impressions.

I think it started in Paris (?) but there are a lot of cities all over the world with padlocks like these. (though I have never seen it in Vienna)
you engrave or write your names on it, throw the keys in the water, and live happily ever after.

It is an art museum (kunsthaus) called "friendly alien".
